Clayton Webb sat in the rear corner of a bar at a table waiting for his latest blind date. He had no idea why he was doing this, considering that anyone he was actually serious about had to be vetted by the Agency.

He is blaming Bud and Harriet for this. It is, after all their fault. If it goes badly they're going to hear about it, and they're paying for dinner, at the Willard.

But he was determined to give it a chance, so here he was, waiting and drinking a scotch in his usual three piece suit, and hoping for the best.

Mac smoothed her dress one last time before entering the restaurant. She still couldn't believe that she was even doing this to start with. She was perfectly happy living in Colorado, practicing family law, but Chloe missed DC and she was starting Georgetown in the fall, so here she was back in DC.

Once her home, now filled with memories and regrets. She gasped as she came to a stop, seeing her date for the first time.

"Oh, I'm going to kill her," She muttered as she neared the table.

When he looked up from his drink and spotted Mac of all people headed toward his table. Harriet had to be kidding. He and Mac already tried this once, and it didn't work out for one major reason his career.

But he stood, and pulled out her chair for her. At the very least they could catch up.

"Colonel," he picked the rank, as he still wasn't sure where he stood after that slap in the face, "it's nice to see you again."
